Woodworking Workshop  | Spring 2015
Project: Side Table

Sponsored by Chestertown RiverArts

Vicco von Voss, a talented local woodworker who produces high-end furniture and timber framing projects will be teaching a class this winter in his timber framed workshop. Vicco, assisted by Bill Ghio, will provide students with instruction on how to build their own table. The class is designed for someone who is already experienced with hand tools. Participants will build a side table and should have some experience with hand cut mortise and tenon joinery. There will be an allowance for individual design in the table, so if one wants to include a drawer, for example, he or she should have already learned the basics of dovetailing. This is a place to improve skills, learn from a master, and carry home an heirloom.

Location: 145 Island Creek Road, Centreville MD 21617

All the classes will take place in Vicco’s shop, which is a work of art in itself: http://www.viccovonvoss.com/timber-framing-2/bolz-shop/
